It's a spicy, slightly-animalic, vanilla! I love it so much! There's not a hint of sweetness in there other than the natural sweetness of vanilla. It smells very dark, mysterious, but subtly sweet at the same time. Just like its name it is really a black cat in a perfume.”

There are MANY more amber-vanilla fragrances with character — some at the same price point and some much less. But I'm not really a fan of many MFK offerings, the only two I own are Amyris Homme Extrait and Gentle Silver. I'll take Encens Suave, Orom, Radanfor, and Velvet Amber Sun. All amazing and complex.”

4/5“I've tried to like it. Probably worn it 7 or 8 times over the last few years. I have never liked it. I don't dislike it, but it is mediocre in my opinion. That's not really a negative comment, but it certainly is not a positive comment. There are so many similar but better fragrances. From the same house … MFK Reflets d' Ambre is another Oriental Amber fragrance, and personally I think it is significantly better than Grand Soir.”

Bigger fan of Vanille Havane or Guerlain Ideal Parfum/Extreme. Drunk Lovers I wanted to dislike because of the hype. But it is freaking addictive. I bought a 10mL decant and within a few weeks had a full bottle.”

Chocolate greedy i have tester as well its really edible like chocolate waffle. Initio its not my taste but maybe you would like it. I only tested it in store.”
