5/5 Fresh & cleanUnique“Can't quite place my finger on it, but there's something about it that struck me as really unique compared to other Iris-based frags I've tried (including the standard Gentleman EDP, Reserve Privee, DHP & DHI, Le Male Le Parfum, Valentino Uomo Intense, and more I'm probably forgetting) and I immediately fell in love. Maybe it's the more prominent woody note that made it almost more fresh-feeling?”

I like le male le parfum a lot and used that for quite some time, really sophisticated, very versatile and overall i liked it over all the jpg offerings. Then i tried elixir on perfume guru's recommendation and i was genuinely blown away by how complex it smells. You'll need a trained nose to appreciate the beauty of elixir. Elixir makes le parfum look generic.”

I don't own LMLP anymore but I have used it extensively in the past, sold mine last year. I recently bought a brand new Le sel dissey edp. There's a slight sweetness from the amber and woods from the le sel dissey in the late dry down, so may be that is where your brain is making the comparison. LMLP has a sweet vanillic dry down with woody undertones, there is just no similarity.”
