5/5 Value“I'm *very* fond of herod though i only really wear clones now it's far too expensive, tobacco vanille(ditto about the clones), CDNH, legasi, encre noire, drakkar, tabac, Olympic rainforest is truly stellar, that Cremo cypress and juniper frag. Those are the ones that come to mind but I love buying randos off consignment websites, yard sales, and thrift stores so I have a bunch I wear regularly and probably couldn't name half of.”

5/5“Encre Noire is a designer example of a fragrance that is not easy to wear for example. It's fantastic to my nose, but I've heard that friends got extremely bad reactions to them wearing it (dead animal, mossy carcass, wet dog poop etc)”
3/5 Synthetic / harsh“Shobi Tsar is kinda like Encre Noire dressed up in 80s fashion, dark, green and aromatic, also a bit harsh in the opening. Kenzo Homme Intense is my current favourite aquatic fragrance, it's surpisingly smooth and the fig note really comes alive on my skin, but it's not for everyone for sure.”

Occasionally I get a little waft of that forgotten in the washer smell from certain dry musks or very "mall" smelling perfumes but never that strong, whatever aromachemical it is that smells like that to me is HEAVY in the base once the vetiver burns out.”
