Another sample on my skin smelled as intended and I liked it, so I bought a full bottle of it, as well as a full bottle of Flowers and Flames.”

4/5“Funnily enough it's when I layer them lol the one combination that has gotten a stupid amount of compliments and requests to write it down has been swiss arabian Casablanca layered over YSL libre. PDM Oriana is an overall pretty everyone-likes-it kinda scent that gets the “you smell really nice” line.”

I kept sampling it in Sephora before I bought it, and it always came off as very light and fresh, loved how it wore throughout the day, and eventually I went ahead and bought a travel spray. The scent became absolutely nauseating to me, and I only wore it a handful of times since buying it back in March or so.”

5/5 Compliments“It's Always when I mix perfume oils and then spray the perfume/ that's when I get compliments. Rose oil and oud and then I spray Ysl libre or Cartier La panthers. I use pure oud on pulse pings and then spray Atlrhair or Godolphin. Clive Christian Number one and Kensington Amber by Penhaligon gets alot of compliments. Ahmed Maghrebi in Doha does a rose oud which is divine. Bahraini Junaid has Hadara which is oud and vanilla- lovely and gets alot of compliments. I usually mix and match depending on the mood and it seems to work.”
3/5“Definitely... I smelled Acqua di Gioia and loved it so much I bought it, but I bought the wrong flanker and couldn't return it, so I was stuck with a version I hated. Also got YSL Libre and I found it just didn't suit me at all, but I gave it to my mother. Had the same experience with Bvlgari Omnia Cristalline EDT... It is not a bad scent at all but it is just so not me. I don't vibe with pear in general so all my regrets involve pear.”

4/5 Night out“My male partner gets all of my mehs and I feel they are unisex without that overbearing woods scent that remind me of darker noir and douchey club guys. Some of my faves are: Hermes Un Jardin a Cythere - Olive woods and pistachio on a Greek island Zara Ebony Wood - grapefruit and subtle woods I don't like lavender on him but Prada Luna is a nice lavender masc scent. I also smelled YSL Libre on a guy at the bar and it was so good on him too and I like wearing it as well.”

I get a lot of compliments on that one, although I don't wear it often. But they smell nothing alike, IMO. Original Libre smells too much like a drug store fragrance from the 90's, like Chantilly Lace.”

When I moved somewhere with winter, I started gravitating towards gourmand scents. I used to hate YSL Libre and you would never catch me buying Warm Vanilla Sugar from BBW but here we are - I have a full bottle of Libre now and I got myself the Warm Vanilla Sugar mist and body wash.”
