That doesn't mean I *can't* wear something from the wardrobe, but the fact is I'm lazy, so the rotating tray means I am more likely to wear everything at least once. Second, I go through annually and try to recall the last time I wore it. If I don't remember, I prioritise it in the next few days/weeks. That's how I have rediscovered that I don't really enjoy Naxos, just today. (This method probably doesn't scale to a huge collection. Mine is relatively small.)”

I just received a decent of Naxos and swore I was going to love it after all the reviews and it turned out to be one of my least favorite fragrances of the lot I got. I can't get past how it smells exactly like sun tanning lotion and yellow taffy. Very cloying and this was indoors. Not hot.”

4/5 Sweetness“Naxos as the base, 1-2 sprays, and one of the Nishane on top. Tweak it if too sweet. :) Haha, and I know because for a bit I really went heavy on the gourmands so I bought some tea/light/fruit forward frags to cut the sweetness. I have a decant of Guerlain Neroli Outrenoir and it's really close to a black tea. Almost like if I had rubbed the tea bags (lol) on my skin. The Naxos makes it really nice. I also have a few of the other recommendations I made and enjoy them all. Naxos is one of my fave scents, def top 10. Hopefully you like it!”

1/5“Yeah Naxos is one of those fragrances that you have to reframe your understanding before you get it. I bought it thinking it would be like a vibrato just super bright and citrussy and was really disappointed when it showed up. Then I started to get a weird itch to wear it again even though I didn't like it. Suddenly I was sniffing it on paper between meetings waiting to put it on. I can't wear it above 85 degrees though it is not a good hot fragrance for me. Something about smelling honey and tobacco when you're putting out a huge sweat line around your neck is awful for me”

Favorite is a tie between T21 and Renaissance, however, I just ordered a full bottle of Renaissance from Jomashop because it's on sale for $154. If T21 had been the same price, I might've ordered that. 😅 Oh yeah, I also have a decant of Torino25. Don't like it at all, not even a little. 😂”

3/5 SweetnessWinter“Congrats! Great for the winter. I usually hate gourmand fragrances, but Naxos does it right. The honey is dominating, with barely noticeable tobacco. But the honey is impeccable and not cloying if not oversprayed. It really is my go to fragrance for the winter. Since I got it, I have moved to a much hotter place, so I have been relying on freshies and have barely been reaching out to it anymore.”

5/5“I have Naxos, African Leather, and Triumph of Bacchus. For be I'm going with TOB and never looking back. The others are fantastic fragrances, but I reach for TOB the most. My suggestion would be picking up a 5 ml decant for each and get to know them first. Whichever you run out of fastest is most likely your best choice for a full bottle.”

4/5 Batches & reformulation“How do the current batches of imagination perform? I have finished my bottle from 2023 and Im hesitating to buy new one as Im afraid of perfomance issues. Vibrato is just a tad worse than imagination, but its a great scent. Naxos is good, but not as versitale as imagination and vibrato. Of course, you can wear it anytime like some people here say, but in that case you will be „that guy”.”
