Allure Sport is a banger for the warmer weather here! I personally prefer the Extreme version, but you can't go wrong here, they are both slam dunks in the warmer weather. Obsidian is a sneaky hitter in there. I got a bottle as I heard what it was going after, and it is very good! Doesn't come off overly synthetic or anything like that, decent longevity, surprisingly versatile, I really enjoy wearing it.”

Just the usual reformulation psychosis The vintages are not worth it, they're a bit more " cacao " heavy and more cedar but pointless. I've worn 2014 ( which is said to be a very subtle difference from the original even back then) also 15, 17 and the newest”

None of those three remain in my collection. That's it. Every other frag I have ever owned I at least wore a few times. As far as your challenge, I have frags I won't wear for many months in a row because I have frags divided by seasons/weather.”

Almost every online fraghead raves about DHI which might lead you to think that it is mass appealing, but I have got quite a few other people to smell it and nobody I have asked has liked it at all, so I think it is much less popular with normal people than online fragheads would lead you to believe.”
5/5 Fresh & cleanUnique“Can't quite place my finger on it, but there's something about it that struck me as really unique compared to other Iris-based frags I've tried (including the standard Gentleman EDP, Reserve Privee, DHP & DHI, Le Male Le Parfum, Valentino Uomo Intense, and more I'm probably forgetting) and I immediately fell in love. Maybe it's the more prominent woody note that made it almost more fresh-feeling?”
4/5“If you are interested in DHI, then you should also check out givenchy gentleman reserve privee side by side. Both have similar iris note but done little differently and I bought the givenchy over the dhi. Chanel allure homme is good but to me nothing special.”

Very “baby powdery” some says it smells like lipstick as well. One of my favorite fragrances lol there's also Givenchy gentlemen. Same baby powdery smell but less makeup vibe. Both really good options but the Dior is a powerhouse especially the old batch”

And the guy must have had no idea that he had really old stock because when i got home and opened the box it was Dior homme sport 2012. He sold me a 200ml for 130$! Honestly probably the closest to Dior Homme Intense as you could get for hot weather scent. The iris in it is fresh but still classy”

4/5 Fresh & cleanFormal“Radanfor is a dark amber / vanilla and the iris note is beautiful. I prefer it to DHP 2020. 27.9 Velour to me is reminiscent of Black Tie. It's a really clean iris vanilla with some brandy booziness thrown in. Iris Debonair I think is solid but it feels more like a dry unisex floral. Gris Charnel Extrait is good but I've never loved enough to purchase the full size. Just some good size decants. Love iris as a note. DHP/DHI are both really good but I have to be in the mood for that more lip sticky variant.”

5/5“I believe that Rasasi produces better fragrances, many people have not heard of a fragrance by them called Arnan Black, maybe the BEST impression of Dior Homme Intense. Has complexity, has layers, they last the same "on my skin", about 4ish hours. Inexpensive, good quality.”

I tried DHI at Ulta today and the waxy lipstick (that I love) disappeared in about 10 minutes and it got more powdery… obsidian keeps that waxy lipstick going for way longer. To my nose, at least. I'm so glad I have obsidian and don't feel like I missed out at all.”

All the iris, less sweet with a vetiver base. Taken off the US market by Dior so you have to get it from unofficial sources (mine was eBay), but a terrific daily choice if you like DHI.”
